    Day 48.

    (HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL, COULD I BE ANY MORE PALE? I’M CRYING. Once again, sorry if my paleness blinds you.)

    It is no secret that I love a piece of clothing that has good details. Something as simple as the lining of a jacket could make or break it. For instance, my sister came home the other day with a cream blazer from H&M. At first I was like, “That’s a cute blazer.” Then I saw that the lining of the jacket was a pale pink. Then I was like, “I need that blazer.” The next day I kidnapped the jacket and started trying it on with everything. It looked particularly good paired with a pink lace top and navy blue cropped pants (with the sleeves of the jacket cuffed, of course).

    Sadly, she is returning the jacket. There’s my luck for you.

    Anyway, the coat that I’m wearing here is one that I have had for around two years, I think. I love the structure of the jacket itself, but the fact the lining is gold excites me beyond belief. The jacket itself is a simple camel color (um, obviously), but as soon as I take it off, the lining just shines and glows and makes the world a better place.

    So, excuse me while I take every jacket/blazer I own and line it with some kind of metallic material.
